Construction

Run the fiber where the load actually travels.

A panel-cut sail asks stitched seams to carry load across the cloth. SurgeX lays continuous fiber from tack, clew, and head through the highest-stress zones, then bonds those fibers into the surface.

The cloth still shapes the air. The fiber carries the load. The review file records what was selected and what was checked before the sail goes to production.

Materials

Four decisions shape the sail.

Fiber Carbon or fiberglass load-path bundles routed from corner to corner.
Density Cruising, performance, and offshore fiber schedules matched to use.
Surface Taffeta face for UV and handling, or lighter film for dry-stowed race use.
Review A sailmaker checks routing, hardware, reefing, and production notes before release.

Sail Passport

Every SurgeX build leaves with a record.

The Passport links configuration, material choices, sailmaker review, final measurements, and service history to the sail itself. When the sail ships, the record travels with it.
