How does online sail configuration work?
Start with your boat model, choose how you sail, create a sail inventory and configure each sail online. Pricing updates as options change. Before production, a sailmaker reviews the configuration, measurements and build notes.
What's included in the price?
The quote reflects the configured sail, selected materials, build options, chosen hardware, sailmaker review before production and the confirmed build record. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
Is the live quote final production approval?
No. The live quote makes pricing visible while you configure. Production starts only after order acceptance and sailmaker review of the build specification.
Production & delivery
3 answers
How long does production take?
Production timing depends on sail type, material, the current order queue and review requirements. The order flow provides the current estimate before the build is confirmed.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Availability, transit time, duties, taxes and brokerage charges vary by destination. Shipping options are shown during checkout or confirmed by support for complex destinations.
How are sails packed for delivery?
Sails are packed to protect the cloth, hardware and finish during transit. Tracking details are sent when the shipment is released.

What is SurgeX?
SurgeX is our load-aligned membrane construction for selected performance builds. The designed flying shape and fiber structure are reviewed together before production release.
Can I use SurgeSails for racing?
Yes, where the chosen material, sail type and class requirements fit the boat and use case. Rating or class constraints should be confirmed before ordering.
What happens if a measurement looks wrong?
The review checks boat data, supplied measurements, selected options and notes. A sailmaker will request confirmation before the sail is released if anything is inconsistent.
Care & support
3 answers
How should I care for my sail?
Rinse salt away, dry the sail before storage, avoid unnecessary flogging and protect it from prolonged UV exposure when it is not in use. Follow the care notes supplied with the sail.
Can a sail be repaired?
Many cloth, hardware and finish issues can be assessed for repair. Email photos, the order reference and a description of the damage so the team can review the next step.
What's covered under warranty?
Manufacturing defects are reviewed through the warranty process. Normal wear, misuse, accidents and damage caused by improper care are not treated as manufacturing defects.
