A sailmaker reads every order before we cut.
You configured a sail. We don't trust that to a script. One of our sailmakers reads your build against your boat, your rig data, and how you sail. If something looks off — a cloth weight, a measurement we'd want to double-check — we come back to you first.
The sail you configured is the sail we build.
The cloth, the layout, the hardware, the dimensions you saw on the price page are the spec the factory cuts to. No quiet substitutions. No "we'll figure it out on the floor." If a material is out of stock or a hardware part is updated, we ask you before we change anything.
The sail keeps its own record.
So you don't have to.
Five years from now, when a leech tape lets go three seasons in, you won't be hunting down when you bought it or what cloth it was. Every SurgeSails sail carries its own record — what it's made of, what's been repaired, what's worth fixing versus replacing. When you're ready for the next sail, the configuration starts where this one left off.

That price isn't a mistake. It's SurgeX.
SurgeX is our in-house membrane laminate. The cloth you saw priced in the configurator costs less because we don't ship it across the world — not because we cut on shape, fiber, or service life.
