Everything downstream — the recommendation, the measurements, the price — is anchored to your boat. Getting this right first saves you corrections later.
The configurator starts from a boat record. You can match your boat in the database or, if it is not listed, enter the dimensions yourself.
Match From the Database
Search by manufacturer and model. When your boat is on file, its rig type and standard dimensions load automatically, and the configurator uses them to size the sail. Confirm the details look right for your specific hull — production year and rig variations can change the numbers.
Enter It Manually
If your boat is not listed, you can provide the key details directly:
- Boat manufacturer and model
- Production year
- Rig type
- Mast manufacturer (optional)
- Existing sail dimensions, if you have them
Confirm Your Measurements
For an accurate build the configurator needs your rig dimensions — I, J, P, and E. If you are unsure how to read these, the Measurement Guide walks through each one. A sailmaker confirms the measurements before production.
