A sail is only as fast as the shape it can hold. FiberMAX is our composite laminate tier — engineered so the airfoil you designed is the airfoil you fly, breeze after breeze.
Woven cloth stretches; that is its nature. FiberMAX replaces the give of a weave with a fiber-reinforced laminate, so the sail keeps its designed depth and twist when the load comes on. It is the cloth we reach for when shape stability matters more than absolute economy — fast cruising and the racecourse.
Why Composite, Not Woven
In a woven sail, load is carried by yarns that must crimp over and under each other. Under pressure that crimp pulls flat and the cloth elongates — the draft moves aft and the sail loses its edge.
FiberMAX lays high-modulus fibers in straight, continuous lines and locks them between films. There is no crimp to pull out, so stretch is minimal and the shape stays put.

Best For
It is compatible across the inventory — mainsail, genoa, jib, Code Zero, and spinnaker builds can all be specified in FiberMAX where the program calls for it.

Advisor Note
FiberMAX is a performance choice, not a default. If you mostly daysail in protected water, a woven cloth will cost less and last longer in the sun. When you tell the configurator your sailing style, the recommendation engine weighs your boat, your loads, and your intent before a sailmaker confirms whether FiberMAX is the right call for your build.
