The Designer shows the price of the sail before you commit. Shipping is calculated after you add your address, so the checkout total shows both parts clearly.
The price of the sail
The number beside the preview is the price of the configured sail. Change the cloth, dimensions or a priced option and the number responds immediately. There is no separate request for a quotation and no negotiation stage before you can see what the choices cost.
The price shown while configuring is the sail price. Shipping is added separately at checkout.
Make a choice and see its effect on the sail price immediately; the checkout then adds the destination-specific shipping amount.
Add your address to calculate shipping
At checkout, choose an existing shipping address or enter a new one. The system uses the destination and the sail’s shipping package to calculate the available carrier rates. The selected shipping method and amount appear in the order summary before you place the order.
Your order total is:
Sail price + shipping = order total
Import duties, VAT/GST, customs fees and carrier clearance charges are not included where the destination country collects them. Those charges are separate from the SurgeSails order and may be collected by the carrier before delivery.
Choose your payment term
You can choose either of these terms in checkout:
50% deposit. Pay half of the order total when you place the order. The remaining 50% is due after production and before the sail ships.
100% full payment. Pay the complete order total when you place the order.
Both options start the same sailmaker review. Production begins only after review is complete and you have confirmed the Sail Passport.
Pay by local bank transfer
After you place the order, the payment page shows the local bank transfer details available for your account and country. Use the beneficiary and account information shown there, transfer the exact amount due and include the unique payment reference. That reference allows the finance team to match the transfer to your invoice.
The page may show local fields such as an account number, bank code, branch code, routing number or other details required for that account. Follow the details displayed for your order; you do not need to choose an international transfer method yourself.
Local bank transfer usually avoids international wire fees. Any charge made by your own bank or payment provider remains outside the order total.
What happens after payment
Once the transfer is received and matched, the order moves into Sailmaker Review. If you chose a deposit, the balance invoice appears after production is complete. Your order and payment status remain visible in My Sails and Orders.
