Every fitting and reinforcement on a Code Zero has to carry its load without creating excessive bulk in the furl.
Head, tack and clew
Head Corner and Tack Corner connect the sail and its integrated cable to the top swivel and furling drum arrangement. Their fittings are reviewed against the furler photographs or model supplied earlier.
Clew Corner carries the sheet load and travels a long way as the sail is eased and furled. It must be strong, comparatively light and able to lie into the roll without becoming a hard, bulky point.
Clew Velcro
When the sail is rolled, Clew Velcro secures the clew and the final turn so they do not flog or begin to unwrap. The configurator records whether it is fitted; its engineering size follows from the sail and the selected finish.
Edge controls and tapes
Leech Line controls flutter along the trailing edge. Foot Line controls curl along the foot where required. Both are Pro choices because their specification and accessible adjustment points depend on sail size and layout.
Tape Color is a visible finish choice. Tape construction and width are production details selected to carry the edge loads while keeping the furl smooth.
Numbers, stripes and artwork
Use Sail Number where the boat races or is otherwise required to carry one. Number colour and size are configured with it.
Draft Stripes make the sail’s section and luff sag easier to read from the cockpit. The current configurator provides stripe count and colours; it does not offer a separate stripe-style choice.
Logos may be added in the Pro view when production-ready artwork and placement are supplied. Applied graphics add local weight and stiffness, so their position is checked against both the flying shape and the furl.
Label and bag
Sail Label selects the standard label or the applicable measurement label. Bag Type should match how the complete rolled sail, cable and fittings will be launched, carried and stored.
A Side Launcher is the normal working solution because the sail comes down as one long rolled package, but it is a recommendation rather than the only field value. If another bag is selected, confirm that it can hold the assembly without forcing sharp folds into the laminate.
